Anxiety, in the right circumstances, can be a helpful and healthy part of our lives. What happens though, when anxiety becomes a problem? This Understanding Anxiety workshop teaches you all you need to know about this common mental health issue and how it can impact your life. We’ll teach you how to spot the different signs of anxiety and a range of methods to tackle it should you need to.
Our anxiety workshop draws on biological and psychological theory to give you a well-rounded understanding of what anxiety is and how it can manifest. The strategies we teach draw upon cognitive behavioural therapy and acceptance & commitment therapy, each offering an emphasis on bottom-up, neurobiological approaches.
